Its contents, to be specific. Works the same far as playing the game is concerned.

So I don't have to download anything from the ISO archive?
correct.

Currently all the contents have been unpacked into my "downloads" folder.
Right-click the folder, choose "Properties" and check what it shows under location.

Let's say my Downloads folder has location of C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\Pulpit .

Instead of C:\ in the MOUNT command, I'd use C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\Pulpit\Downloads . Since that contains spaces, I have to enclose it in quotes to work right, leading to this:
mount d: "C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\Pulpit\Downloads\hofcd\cd" -t cdrom -label MIKES

Oh, my God! It's working! I can't tell you how many hours I've spent trying different things and researching. Thank you so much for your help and patience.
I must say, the instructions on how to play a game that requires a CD ROM aren't very thorough. Your instructions made it very simple. I also realized that part of the problem was that the folder containing the CD info was a folder inside a folder, so DosBox wasn't able to find it. Once I used the actual folder, plus your handy dandy information, it worked fine.

We'll have to replace that archive sooner or later. I have a solution that can get DOSBox to mount the subdirectory automatically, but it needs adding there together with a short batch file.

I mounted everything and when I typed hofcd.exe to start the game, the command does nothing.

To be more precise:

I used:

mount d: c:/hofcd/cd -t cdrom -label MIKES

then I used:

mount c: c:/hofcd/

Finally I typed

c:

Then I hit:

hofcd.exe, push enter and I get either a blank or Illegal command

Default BUG?

I am on Chapter 2. I need to make the MUSTARD.
I have the ground grain and I can't mix it with vinegar to make the mustard.

Is this a bug? When I try to mix them up, I pick up the ground grain and drop the vinegar.

HELP??

It's not a bug. Ground grain is not used in the mustard recipe, ground radish is.
