Right-click the folder, choose "Properties" and check what it shows under location.
Let's say my Downloads folder has location of C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\Pulpit .
Instead of C:\ in the MOUNT command, I'd use C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\Pulpit\Downloads . Since that contains spaces, I have to enclose it in quotes to work right, leading to this:
mount d: "C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\Pulpit\Downloads\hofcd\cd" -t cdrom -label MIKES

Oh, my God! It's working! I can't tell you how many hours I've spent trying different things and researching. Thank you so much for your help and patience.
I must say, the instructions on how to play a game that requires a CD ROM aren't very thorough. Your instructions made it very simple. I also realized that part of the problem was that the folder containing the CD info was a folder inside a folder, so DosBox wasn't able to find it. Once I used the actual folder, plus your handy dandy information, it worked fine.
