Hello! I just started playing Cok for the first time. What an awesome series! I played DKK and DQK a lot back in the 90's, but never this gem. Can someone explain me why the thac0 of my two knights didn't get better when they leveled up from 1 to 2 (still 17 as it was at level 1). AFAIK their thac0 should get better at every level up. Thanks in advance.

Their thac0 should improve when levelling up. Maybe you switched weapons from melee to ranged or similar. I wouldn't bother too much.

It turned out that knights's thac0 improved by 2 when they got to level 3. Now they can start kicking ass :laugh:

Hi, everyone! I'm searching a "save" to champion of krynn. I want to have a strong fellowship (high levels and super artifacts) because I want convert all heroes to Death Knight of krynn. Please help mi.

You won't gain much from a CoK save.
You'll have a stronger party at the end if you start a new game.
Imported characters don't have much more XP than DKK characters (can be evened out with a few random fights) but far less hitpoints since they were rolled randomly at level ups in CoK (can't be evened out) while you can assign full HP to newly created characters.
The most powerful items from CoK can't be imported into DKK and the items you'll find in DKK are more powerful anyway.

In every RPG from SSI you can delete the *.cfg file. Then start the game. Without the cfg file, the setup starts. There you can choose the graphics, sound, mouse or keybord control and finally the path for the savegames plus the path where to import the characters from previous game.

Just finished the game. It has been an incredible experience for me, and I dare to say that this game and other classics of this kind have a richer atmosphere and are more addictive than most of the latest releases in the RPG genre. Now I must continue my adventure in Death Knights of Krynn.
