Just recently discovered these games, all inspired from Flashback/Another world and best of all, they're all FREEWARE

First one:

Iji (WIP to be released this year)
Platform action game where the main character (female btw) is able to upgrade stats like in an RPG. Animation is slick, drawn in a style similar to Flashback. Demo is available and quality is just great.

onEscapee
Previously published on Amiga, then went thru short period as shareware after being ported to the PC and now available Free. Hand-drawn animation and backgrounds and invovles puzzle+action.

From the makers of 5 Days A Stranger and 7 Days A Skeptic comes 1213, which I'd say is Flashback without all those agitating accidental deaths. Divided into three episodes, only been through the first one, so far so good, tutorial was integrated very well into the story. Great presentation overall.
