![]() After reading a few reports about the new improved DRM for Vista, I started thinking and looking for a Linux, not seriously since I want the windows game to work, but still looking. So, a friend told me that I could install one linux, say KUbuntu, and try the program cedega. Which apparently makes windows games work under linux. I am currently downloading ubuntu 5.04 and in the next couple of days I wil install it to my old laptop drive for some test drive. If I see that my games work, I might consider saying goodbye to windows....
I don't know if Dosbox and vdms sound will work under linux though. Many popular windows games do work under cedega, and I mean MANY, so we will see. Any comments? |
