Default Super C

I'd like to see a nice run-and-gun game written by Konami in 1991 on the site. I don't believe there's a market for Super C (the IBM-compatible equivalent of the original Arcade version), so I guess we could simply declare it abandoned. By the way, how many of you know not even the DOS, but the original version? There's a prequel called Contra, but I simply couldn't force it to work yet because of a strange filename issue (I think the filename __contra.??? is invalid, unfortunately, the game runs through a series of files calling each other... but this is another problem), but the sequel entitled Super C runs fine. Other abandonware sites host it as-well, and I haven't heard about a massive lawsuit by Konami against some rare site because of an old, forgotten game yet.
Last, but not least, I recently became a fan of the series (which has it's origins on the NES and SNES and Sega Megadrive etc.), so I'd be happy to write about it, and provide screenshots and game archives if necessary.

Off course there are some of us that grew up playing coin-op machines. I was going to review all coin-op conversions, and I'm halfway there, but I never manager to run any of Contra conversions. I'm not sure about abw status, it is probably so, but games were published as "Konami Colector series" or something, along with Castlevania much much later.

Konami (publisher/developer) is an ESA member but the game is not protected since 2006.
The conversion is still available in sold collection but I'm not sure if this is counts as being sold

Overruled, the version in that compilation is NOT the EGA version that this game originally was.

I haven't found any valid buylinks. Can someone please confirm this?

I haven't found any buylinks either. I think we can label this as 'approved'.
