![]() I have farted around with my DosBox config file and am now unsure what the default settings are. I tried to uninstall and re install, but the config file doesn't change, so it must be storing it somewhere after I uninstall the program. Obviously I should have saved the default file somewhere, but I didn't. Can someone tell me where I can see the 0.74 default configs, or delete whatever file that is storing it after uninstallation? Thanks

![]() You just need to go to the Start menu, in the DosBox program folder in Configuration there's, aside of Edit Configuration, also Reset Configuration. Click on it.

![]() That was it. Thanks. Is it advisable to use "cpu type 386" in the config file or leave it as auto? I was just wondering as a rule of thumb when to use that command. Thanks
