im sorry to open a new tread but i did it so i can get help to upload games and get permission for the ones i dont know they are legal or not.
first of all i cant upload games in to the link provided my tom henrik,i have couple of problems,first i cant rename the folder i made,it says i dont have permision,and when i choose to copy a file,it stays in copying state long(without sending or recieving data)and again it says idont have permision,any help ????
and the game im trying to copy is CRIME CITY.

Well, even with the password you cannot rename directories. Windows FTP client sucks big time here.

But, you CAN create directories with a specific name. Just go and get Total Commander. Just about any version will do, and it's both powerful file manager (REALLY powerful and easy to use), and has a built-in FTP client to boot. k: Used it to upload my review for Castlevania with screenshots and extras, really smooth.

aiat, FTP is basically a file transfer protocol through the net... used to upload and download files to/from FTP servers. FTP is a different thing from HTTP (which you use just now to view this forum). You don't really to need more. Do you need to know what is a construction of a microwave oven (or electric kitchen or whatever)? No, and yet you use it everyday to warm your meals. Same here - no need to know how FTP functions, just that it is.

no i dont need to know any more,i just had no idea wat ftp is,but tanks for clearing that out,when i use IE to upload my file to directory,it pauses for a long time and does nothing(i think it says i dont have clearance)and i tom gave me the adress and password.

i downloaded total commander and typed the site tom gave me in new ftp connection,but it says it is password protected and doesnt let me to type inn the pass,horse man a little help pleez!
