![]() You can't post in the subforums there, only in the main Requests forum.
Moved from FON

![]() Thanks MM
Yes DeAdLy_cOoKiE, AFAIK you can post only on main requests forum and Unknown subforum. Next time post them in separate threads, thanks. Pyrotechnica (1995) by Psygnosis Limited -> Abandonware Link at MobyGames Cybercon III (1991) by US Gold -> Abandonware Link at MobyGames Armour-Geddon (1991) by Psygnosis, Ltd. -> Abandonware Link at MobyGames Would you like reviewing one of them? ![]() Psygnosis is under the ESA label, since their properties were apparently taken by Sony. That's why you have a tougher time finding their Amiga games on sites like Back2roots and such that offer legally downloadable games. So there's a good chance Pyrotechinca (which I own) and Armour-Geddon are protected in some form.

![]() I got Armour-Geddon as 3.5" floppy version. Still shrinkwrapped.
Pyrotechnica is a CD version and Cybercon III I have downloaded somewhere as a zip. |

![]() While this thread is still going, what's the difference between the ten year rule, and the fifteen year rule I've been seeing sporadically? Is it ten years for a dead company, and fifteen for one that's still around in some form (be it on their own, having been absorbed into another company, or having had their IPs purchased)? Is it vice versa? Something different altogether?
Just curious to know since I apparently don't know my head from my ass on the subject, seeing as all three are approved.

15 years for ESA core members 10 years for their subsidiaries. Mind you, some companies (especially Sierra and LucasArts) tend to cling onto their game titles like a bear mother to her cubs, even beyond those 15 /10years. If so, then the titles are concidered protected "until further notice". Look at this post http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/sho...4&postcount=15 especially the very last comment from Tom Henrik.
