Hi Guys,

I don't really use any other forums at the moment so I prefer to just post any thoughts on games in general or new releases etc on this site , do you think that is a correct use of the abandonia forums and should there be a seperate section for it?

( I know there is the favoutite new / old section but it often doesn't seem like the right area to post in)

my main reason for this post is because I have been trying the new settlers beta and wondering if anybody else was and there did not seem to be a 100% correct area to post in.

crap, i misclicked it and picked the last one instead of the second one. i would pick second one, cause i thought that favourites forum is for things like that

I agree with russ here. The fav oldies/newbies is enough I think, considering AB puts it's weight on abandonware.

I agree, the current boards are enough and Favs doesn't seem so crowded as to make a split advisable, plus the line between the two wouldn't be so clear.

I think there should be a section on the site about "freeware and newly", where people could review some freeware and/or fanmade videogames. Or cheap shareware at least. But at very least.

I agree, I came here for the old stuff that you can't find anywhere... Who cares about all that new stuff... And there's plenty of sites that cater to that...

It's best if you guys keep your focus, as I've seen before, otherwise the sites become crappy fast

And once there is a full 'new games' discussion section, the next demand will be for a consoles talky section ....
And the Wii-XBox-PSX-whatever war will be fought out allover once again there, as already has occured on other AW sites.

Better avoid it.

Use the Favs forum for ALL your favourites! It's there for a reason! Go to GameSpot if you want to talk more about new releases!
