![]() Hi im just downloaded dos box and installed Ultima 7. Whenever i try to run it, it gives me this error :
"Please remove your extended memory manager before running Ultima VII." How do i deal with this? |

![]() Open up the DOSBox configuration file, either via "Start" -> "Programs", or directly using notepad.
Locate the line saying ems=true and set it to ems=false

![]() There is something better than that.
Download this and unpack "memory.bat" into the root of what is your C mount in DosBox (or you can just as well integrate it's contents into the [autoexec] section of your config file - it's your call). When you run it, it will give you a simple control menu where you can change EMS/XMS/UMB settings - without leaving DosBox. |
