![]() I was reading wikipedia when I found out about these games. Theyre totally sick.
Ethnic Cleansing A game where you can kill black people, latinos & Jews. More info. Super Columbine Massacre RPG! An RPG based on the incident. More Info. Islamic Fun A collection of games for muslim children. More info KZ Manager A game where you manage a nazi concentration camp. More info All of these games are sick. Okay, I know, GTA is sick too, but these games are meant to be sick and evil. |

![]() I'm almost laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of some of them.
The level of distaste prevents me from doing so, though. |

![]() I've heard about the Ethnic Cleansing and KZ Manager previously, and even then I wondered how sick us humans can be.

![]() I think The Columbine Massacre Game is supposed to be some sort of serious illustration of how messed up those people actually were, and not really intended to glorify the action as much as in Ethnic Cleansing and KZ, but it's still in monumentally poor taste.
"Islamic Fun" is less obvious than the others in it's propaganda too, "The Resistance" apart, it seems to be reliant on loaded terminology, rather than obvious racism, but that's still nowhere near appropriate for a kid's game with nice, fluffy, cuddly animals. Ethnic Cleansing and KZ are just plain evil. |

![]() The Columbine thing is actually not that bad - PC Gamer UK ran an article on it, with words from the creators and also by some of the survivors.
The fact that it's presented in such an unrealistic manner graphically, and people have generic names like "Jock" or whatever shows the messed up nature of the people who were committing the act. Interesting, anyway. No idea about the Muslim one, but the other two are just horrendous. |

![]() meh, distasteful but not offensive to me. after all, postal 2 has it's fair share of sickness and racism. still not right to create those games to just poke fun, is it?

![]() You couldn't make it up. I didn't believe that Holocaust one or KZ Manager until I checked the links. Sickening stuff... Back in the day you just didn't get games with those kinds of themes - it was unthinkable. Nobody believed they could get away with it - in Germany for instance when Street Fighter 2 first came out they said it might have "racist" undertones, but nobody really believed it. Now compare SF2 with games like those. I am worried about the way things are going, with such rapidity.
But the Muslim one: it seems the main controversy point is that it features a sub-game where you have to fight on the Palestinian side rather than the state of Israel. There are many games like that (games where you choose a side in a known conflict)- I think they're relatively innocuous even though I find them very distasteful I think it's not such a black-and-white situation as that with the neo-Nazis. This is because I think computer games might provide an outlet for hostile feelings in an existing situation in which there are entrenched positions and hostile intentions such as Israel/Palestine, whereas in the United States and most countries, a state of peace and interior security between the subject entities is entrenched and could only be undermined by allowing free expression to these ideas when they come in the form of interactive entertainment (I think interactive is a different beast from media, film, etc). |

![]() :vomit:
Do I have to say more? Okay, ditto, sick sick sick. It's true that GTA is somewhat sick. It's okay for a grown up youngster who already has firm concepts on good and evil, but if I had a little child there would be no way he could be playing it, no matter how funny it is.
