![]() OK, so the idea is quite simplistic...
Putting three subforums under Requests forum: -Accepted Requests -Processed Requests -Rejected Requests Now, what purpose would that serve? Well, the way I see it, current state of Requests forum is a total hell-hole. People keep asking over and over again for some games, reviewers can't figure out which requests have been approved without going through each thread in the forum... It's a serious headache. With these three subforums, however, request threads for games that are viable additions to the site would be moved into Accepted Requests, and later moved to Processed Requests when the games are added to the site, while rejected request threads (games still sold, ESA'd or inappropriate for any other reason) would land in the last sub-forum. That would bring a degree of order into the forum, and also reduce the number of duped requests. The reviewers would also benefit, as this change would make it far easier for them to find new titles to review, even if they are not yet on the "games that need reviews" list. So, everybody benefits. |

![]() the idea is good.

![]() I strongly agree. That way, we could see what other people want and try to find those games for them.

![]() @Data: I don't think majority of Newbies will care about it... But about everyone else will benefit.

![]() I don't know if that is the best way to make it, but a bit of order in that section could be really a good thing
I fear that such solution will bring more work for the moderators... |

![]() The only extra work would be moving threads around - the rejected/processed subforums would not be available for posting by anyone, as their only purpose would be reference.

![]() Sorry for interfering, I think the idea is great but that needs some administration and maintenance. Aren't you admins quite busy...?
Cause many of those reference threads like member photos, member names and that stuff is updated quite rarely. Same with uploading scans and manuals. Correct me if I'm wrong! I don't wanna break you enthusiasm!

![]() All admin action that'll be neccesary is creating those subforums, rest of the job will be done by mods (particularly one psychotic bastitch with a green terminator-vampire avatar)
