Best strategy game at that time:Dune II or Warcraft I
Okay, okay, i got the idea reading Lothar's thread.But this question comes naturally, because at that time these two games battled for supremacy.
I ask that you only compare these games and not their succesors |

If i am not mistaken Dune II is older than Warcraft 1, and it is the grandfather of all RTS games... I might be wrong, but thats what i believe

Dune II is (widely accepted) as the first real RTS game as far as I know

Yeah Dune II is the first RTS like Doom is the first FPS. This means that they are accepted as being the first even though technically they are not.
I never got into Warcraft much. I did not like it. Dune II however I played over and over again. My vote therefore goes to Dune II. |

I cant fucking get past mission 3 or 4 on any family on Dune 2
bloody sandworms eating my nice harvesters and tanks
