![]() Yep, a good idea. I think I'm going to do just that as soon as I'll find a mobo to replace the broken one of my oldie 486.

![]() Kreepah; I beleive Windows 2000 is the worst Windows OS when it comes to compatibility. I also beleive Windows XP is better in that aspect.

![]() Simply try setting the speed in DOSbox to something in the middle.
At low numbers, it will be slow, but as you raise it it'll get faster. This much should be obvious. But if you go too high, it'll slow down again. So, run the game and use CTRL+F12 to speed it up until it starts to go slowly again. Then use CTRL+F11 to lower the cycles a bit. With a bit of fiddling, you should be able to find a decent speed. |

![]() Oh my god. oh my god. are you crazy guys????
Hey I know your problem... and maybe I know the solution. Just tell me which graphic-card you use. If you use something like Radeon 9200 and higher or GFrorce 3Ti and higher, than your problem is very easy to solve. Buy an old graphic-card and the games will work. I don't know why the games allready start and crashes after a few seconds, but I had the same problem with one of my games. Try it out I'm sure it will work (buy a GForce 2MX400. Best card for all kind of games ever! prize: only 8 or 10 Euro) preaches in the name of god the bullseye |

![]() If you're using DOSBox, then you don't need old video card, but newer.
More power = DOSBox runs better. |

![]() Anubis...
I don't know, but every game needs something like a graphic-card And newer ones try to avoid the emulating stuff, with which DosBOX works. If every problem could be solved with more power than it would be great. |

![]() I have no experience with newest video cards, as mine is year old, but from what I know, there were no comments on incompatibility with any emulator (DOSBox is only one of them).
I might be wrong. |

![]() I had that problem with Morrowind: Arena
I used a Radeon 9800 pro and it didn't work. So I changed the graphic-card and installed my old GForce2MX400 and it worked. So this is the onliest reason I could think of |
