I'm considering the purchase of either or both these titles, but I'm looking for detailed feedback. Have you played 'em? Did you like or dislike 'em--and if so, why? Always keeping in mind what the developer sought to achieve. Neither is meant to be combat-intensive, and I'm looking for space strategy sims with strong economic content. Thanks!

Already have done so; but I like getting second opinions from those with longer experience with the games.
