Desert Thunder [SOLD]
This game isn't really old but i can't get it out of my head. I remember playing it in 2005 or so on my windows 98 (I'm not even sure if it exists or its just my imagination). It was a third person 3D game where you drove a tank/jeep or other military crap. There was a mission in a valley where there was some chopper and you had to kill it and some jeeps around the valley to progress. Then there was this snowy advert thingy as the game was a demo (not sure). After that there was a big desert map (big for 2005 standards) wich was literally impossible for me to finish as i was stupid and 8 years old. The desert map had multiple paths to an enemy base. The place you started in was a small desert town. I remember a short wooden bridge with a huge tank wich blasted you to pieces in 2 shots. You could press M to open the map and the controls were standard WSAD and mouse. After the desert level there was this jeep level where you had no weapons and drove around some kind of island with your own base on it. I have no idea what was after that as i couldn't progress. I have no idea what happened to it afterwards.

Edit: Actually scratch this, I didn't notice you said driving-centric... and Desert Storm is only about deserts anyway.

I checked out the list and some of those games look smiliar, but noone of them are the exact same game, unless I can't recognize it.

It's not Delta Force, the game I played you couldn't get out of the vehicle as far as I can remember.

Did it look likeThis ?
Or This when you selected which weapon ? If so the game is called "Desert Tank" made by Brothersoft. I can't find that much information on it. But hopefully that helps.
