It would be unwise to waste the name with more than a decade's worth of publicity behind it. They'll just label a new project as DNF now and profit.

From what I've seen of the in-game action, it's very similar to that leaked video from a while back.
Seems like DNF wasn't too far from being finished, and Gearbox are just filling in the gaps and doing QA. That's just speculation though, and I'll have to wait and see... but it sure will be strange when it is released. |
