![]() This game was my all-time favourite for a very long time. Good story, puzzles, wicked graphics, it was kinda scary, and that rockin' intro song!! Love it, love it. Total respect to access software.

![]() Access Software are really one of the most underrated companies - especially in Europe. They released very American adventure games that they didn't market enough in Europe.
The early Tex Murphy adventure games weren't even properly sold here. Under A Killing Moon was the first that was really advertised but then again, it stood out from all the other crappy FMV games: a proper 3D engine, a proper adventure game, a great story, great graphics, plenty of comedy, etc. I didn't even *know* there were two pre-UAKM Tex Murphy games. I didn't even know Overseer was a Mean Streets remake. And it's a very ambitious game: a 3D engine letting you fly your car, having to find clues yourself, use keywords to investigate, etc. Still, I'm glad I ignored PC Gamer UK magazine - their original review of Under A Killing Moon trashed it. They awarded it a ridiculous 32% and since then, I haven't trusted them quite as much. Yes, the game has some poor action but who gives a damn? It's a solid and fun game! |

![]() Access software was clearly a pioneer in the field. I just started playing under a killing moon again, as well as martian memorandum and countdown. Great memories with these games. I cant believe that a magazine would rate uakm so poorly.

![]() One of the two non-Tex Murphy Acess adventures, the other one is Amazon: Guardians of Eden. I enjoyed this one a lot.

![]() Just a quick thought on the game. Does it really qualify for the Medieval tag?

![]() My Parents used to laugh at me and wonder what the hell I was doing on the computer when that guy shouts,"GET SCORPIO!!!" Lol. I still love this game, especially the train mission.

![]() Those digitized screams from the Asylum used to creep me out... in a good way. Thought it set the mood wonderfully. However, as long as it took me to get out of there, it almost felt like a different game once you started traveling.

![]() Agreed! The escape part was good enough itself! I even thought it's all to the game that is, and than I was just shocked to travel around.

![]() Hello.
The Walkthrough and the Hints links are broken. Can someone fix them, please? Cheers, Rui. |
