![]() Alright, I'll go chop some heads off soon if this won't start doing what it's supposed to do.
I've tried every trick from the first ten pages and the VISTA-howto page. However, neither my original game CD, my full-installed original game NOR the downloaded game will work. My DOSBox 0.73 refuses to believe such a thing as "LION" exists. The farthest I got was this: Z:\>mount c: c:/users/ttx/oldgames Drive C is mounted as local directory c:/users/ttx/oldgames\ (love my Finnish keyboard, it won't accept any \s there, just /, but they both work whatsoever.) Z:\>c:/cd lion/LION Unable to change to lion/LION Tried to mount straight from the E, my CD-DVD rom, but it says it "doesn't exist". On other accounts, it leads me to "please insert CD", which surprisingly is in comp already and has not been taken out for one moment after putting it in. So. I've tried this from drive D, drive C, C and Program Files, C and users and my name and oldgames, drive C without a folder, drive C with folder, same folder as DOSbox... ... practically yes, my everything. |

Try: mount c: c:/users/ttx/oldgames c: cd lion lion ..... And of course hit enter after every line. [Edit] BTW, you apparently didn't followed the how to, or you would have a C in dosbox in stead of a Z .....

What I typed in was mount c c:/eeeettttcccc. So it said "mounted c" and etc, but it still showed the Z for some reason. Will try again now fresh and caffeined up. |

edit: ohhh, my failure seems to be at hitting enter after the first command. I didn't think about that, sensing that every enter starts a new command, and I kept thinking about it as a single line. NOW on to try it -> |

![]() ... I think I need to register just to get this one game going in order to stop flooding, but:
Now it says "Unable to change to: lion" So it picks off the "cd" from the start and says it's unable to change to lion - only. (which I got by messing around with the Z driver too, though. So I managed to get from point A to point B to get to point C which I could [somehow] reach straight from point A, but at least I got SOMETHING right...) Here I have a picture for you, judge if you see something wrong in there: ![]() I also tried just command "cd", it opened C:/ tag for me (I couldn't write anything there though) and continued straight to basic "lion", resulting in... tadah, "Please insert LION CD in CDROM drive and try again".) |

![]() Hmmmm...
Windows-> computer-> folder c:/users/ttx/oldgames You should have a folder in there called lion. If not, things got screwed up when unzipping the archive, start over I would say. You need that folder. You must have when you look in windows: c:/users/ttx/oldgames/lion/ *all the files here*

I've actually set it up from the original CD, so no files should be missing and everything's in the right place, too. Still asks me to insert the CD to driver. >_< |

You must also mount your CD the same way you did when installing the game to play. [Edit] BTW, you did install the game in dosbox, I may hope .......

i have tried everything i could understand from the forum but still cant get lion to run. When i launch it it say "you need 2.6mb expanded memory. you have 0 bytes." which is weird because in C: drive i got 12GB and D: drive i got 49.9 GB and i place LION folders in each and tried to run it. I also tried doing "mount d d:\LION\" or "mount c c:\user\shiranui\LION\" and it still not work. i have vista and i have changed the Vista's "Standart VGA Graphics Adapter" video driver Vista's "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" video driver and its still not working i could use some help plz |
