Hopefully my drives survived last Saturday and the save didn't get lost.
I've been working on it a bit before that... incident, and all pilots had upwards of 38 base AP, and if my calculations regarding max AP for stats are correct, it's possible to have as much as 52 AP (and it's the base unmodified value I'm talking about!).

By calculating maximum total XP for pilot skills (1500 or so IIRC) and calculating the movement XP required to increase the AP.
I can post an Excel spreadsheet with the calculations, if you like.

The saves did survive, aferall.

I've been a little busy, so at the moment I've only been able to confirm that it is possible to get 46 AP. Will work on that further today.
