Quite a nice game, though sometimes really frustrating (especially that fire cavern level)...
"If you liked this game, you should also try: Gods ; Barbarian ; Elf" I'd like to add: Sorcerian (a sort of prequel to Zeliard and more similar to it considering gameplay, although you control 2 characters) |

Looks similar to YS III and Zelda II and made by the legendary GAME ARTS who are better known for their classic LUNAR and GRANDIA rpg series for consoles. :w00t:

I hope somebody's still paying attention to this thread, cause I got trouble. My game locks up whenever I access the inventory during the boss fight with the gelatin cube of the ice caves... and needless to say I need to get at my magic recovery items unless I wanna try hacking at it for hours on end. Does anybody have an idea why this might be happening? So far the only time it's done this has been during that boss fight.

I get the feeling Kioku Feathers are supposed to send you back to the sage you've spoken with most recently, but sadly enough they always send me straight back to Muralla Town (Town #1). What's up with that? Do I have to do something special to make it work properly?
P.S. I somehow managed to kill that gelatin boss with only one round of magic fire... that's what happens when a stubborn person finds an obstacle. Bang your head into it until it breaks! (The obstacle... hopefully) |

Hi, i downloaded zeliard, i used to play when i was 8, it's an amazing game, but i couldn't install it. when try to install after set the option for video and sounds, seems that i don't have enough space on c to install zeliard, obviously thats not true, it's only requierd 1.1 meagabites of free space. i'm trying to install it in my regular computer.
can somebody hel me?? thanks camilo from argentina (sorry for my enlgish) |

Old games such as this one weren't programmed with expectations of running on drives as large as are commonly used nowadays.
I propose you use DOSBox to run the game. A beginner's guide to DOSBox is available here.
