![]() I just reformatted my HD and reinstalled XP from scratch, because my PC was riddled with cyber disease (ie spyware/viruses) beyond the help of any spyware scanner or AVG. Anyhoo, since then it's actually crashing on a more regular basis than before. I've discovered a tool that's supposed to be really good at fixing Windows bugs...but I don't know how to use it. The tool in question is WinDBG and I wondered if anyone on Abandonia knew of any useful tutorials for it. I'm talking tutorials for complete WinDBG newbies here, I've no idea how to use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: Problem fixed, hopefully. I had a good look at the information the BSoD was giving me and it said the problem was my USB modem drivers. So I bought an ethernet cable. Fingers crossed. |

![]() If I were you, I'd rather run a Memtest86 and follow up by checking the SMART data on your hard drives. These two are more likely then internal bugs of your OS.
