You can find the ISO via P2P programs, ie eMule.

Personally, I never had a problem like that with either VDMSound or DosBox.

Thanks for iso imago answer and thanks to eagle, now I know that I'm not the only one. And for that I know there's someone else who haven't managed the game to work. I'm year from graduating Bachelor of engineering and my orientation is programming so I know thing or two about programs. Still I can't make this one work. :wallbash: I'm crazy about UFO games so this is close to my heart and is making me feel agony.

So I have to try and find the answer or new computer...

Thanks for this site, I really enjoy old pc games such as Fantasy General, Larry's, legend OF kyrandia and so on.... :brain:

And thanks who ever found time solve this problem

Cycles are computer dependant. It mean that if your computer is slower than mine, it's normal that you don't get the same results with the same amount of cycles.

By the way, if you guests are not all the same person then please start yourself a new personnal thread about your problem so we know that they are separated problems. The rule around here is a thread for each person per game, not a thread for every game. Otherwise we would end up with super threads with 100 pages like the threads already existing in the game forum...

I think that if you read the thread carefully, you will find out that everything has already been fully explained.
My post about IMGMOUNT also contains a link to an in-depth explanation in the official DosBox FAQ.

There is no perfect cycle/frameskip configuration. Not that I use frameskip myself, either. On my 1,75 gHz Sempron 2500+, around 20000 cycles the game reaches playable speeds, but still lags from time to time unless it is set (thanks to Dynamic Core) to 30000 cycles.

This is not possible and if you try it will not work. Period. Ever.
