Alot of thing whomped PCs back in the day. But that didn't matter. What mattered was everyone had one, so regarless of how bad it had to be, if you wanted to make sales you needed a PC version.

But for me, I prefer the MAME version.

I must have pumped $50 worth of tokens in this bad boy at Aladins Castle in my local mall (alas it is gone now, replaced by Luca Pizza) and it took forever to beat. Still though, besides the MAME version, i still like the Genesis Robocop Vs Terminator. Better graphics and effects (BLOOD and GORE!!!) plus it added in my favorite movie villian, The Terminator!
