Excuse me, but I see you guys talking about downloading Warlords II from here, but on the review I only see a link to Buy It, and it takes me to the pocket PC version. Where exactly do I download the old DOS version? I actually was looking in my basement for this game, and only found Disk 2 (the game had two 3.5 inch disks) so then I looked online and came upon this site. Any help?

I used to have Warlords, (the original one), a while ago (from gamebird). It's an awesome game, though of course less developed than Warlords II. I got Warlords II a while ago as well, certainly better in most points, but I missed the map in Warlords I. Most of II's maps are almost completely islands, but the game's okay. II has got great music, too.

hey guys, warlords II was also one of my favourite games over years... but on abandonia i cannot find the download nowhere, only a demo version for the pocket pc game...

i just want to enjoy the game again, can someone help me?

well i got the link to an existing download for warlords 2 for PC, not pocket pc, on some foreign site (poland or bulgaria, or hungary? forgot it...). here on abandonia we can only get the pocket pc version, which is not only commercial, but also unusable with a normal desktop pc.

does anybody know where to get additional warlords 2 scenarios and the v1.11 patch? they should be available for free, but i cannot find the...

i would want these for additional maps to crush my enemies into the ground... hehehe!

We were requested by the producer to remove the game from a free download, as they are remaking it and selling it. (It is bad business for them if everyone already got the game for free, strangely enough.)

That means that, yes it is illegal to link to downloads of this game.

Yea i remember when i was 7 i would own my brother in a rotation of Heroes 2, warlords 2, and we would compete for the highest score. wow those were the days.
the AI is too dum to play against so do any of you happen to be in the DC area?

goto options and turn off the Speech.
I had a trouble with that head too.

If you wan't to buy it, I would recommend Warlords III instead (not Warlords IV!) - it's the same game - improved graphichs (though not very much, and they still stay true to the original(s)), some very shallow RPG-elements, and Warlords all the way k:

Certainly Warlords 3(Darklord Rising) was an excellent game the best of the series...
