Music was recorded as audio tracks on the original CD. You'll have to obtain a copy of the full CD version to get it.
Someone with the original cd should rip it and encode to mp3 (loses some quality, but i think it's worth it), so that audio could be distributed with a cue file and later burnt on a disc! In home of the underdogs they used to have the audio for Loom along with the vga update pack. I remember it worked!

There was no map editor for HOM&M, as far as I know.

Say, has anyone here actually tested dosbox ipx emulation capabilities? Wouldnt it be cool to play this game against an online human opponent? Anyone had any success? Speak up, folks!

A tip for the lazy bastards such as me: I made a file in notepad with the following text:

mount d e:\ -t cdrom
heroes

Than I saved it as heroes.bat in the game directory, and I also copied the dosbox shortcut to it. That means i only have to drag heroes.bat to the dosbox shortcut and the games mounts the cd and starts automatically. And i actually mounted my second hard disk (e:\) as the cdrom, you can do that. The game just wants you to have a drive, it doesnt care about the content so you can even mount an empty folder as the cdrom if you want.

I'm also curious about the dosbox multiplayer thingie, i hope someone shows up and says it works great.

..."Included in the Windows version", right? Well, I've got that one. No editor there.
