I just bought a copy of Dawn of War and am mortified at how poorly the manual was translated. Many, many mistakes totally killing off the spirit of the game. Now, a friend of mine has a (pirated) copy of the fully English version... I've been thinking of a little Dr. Filenstein operation to swap the subtitle files for ones from his game, but I've been told that doing so would break the End User Licence Agreement.

I have two choices:
1. Do the operation and break the licence.
2. Stay on the good side and suffer from painfully inadequate translation.

What should I do?

Since you've already paid for it you're not doing anything worse by improving the product that you would've done had it been abandonware and you'd downloaded it from here instead.

Just had a similar experience with Black Mirror. The game kept crashing on it so I got me a nice NOCD-crack and now it works great.
