As a kid, I remember I took a math paper (those with all the squares printed on) and used color pencils to copy a sprite from one of the DOOM games. I waited until one of the flying skulls would attack, and then when it was almost in my face, I paused the game and started coloring the pixel pattern onto the paper. Then I opened Paintbrush (Win 3.11) and created the sprite. It took me days :P

Nowadays, things go faster.



That castle and Lemmings took me, I think, 2-3 hours to make. [/b][/quote]
