I go to talk to the Laibon and he keeps asking me over and over "What are you here for, friend of Rakeesh?"
He asks me so fast that I can barely talk to him and I keep losing honor and paladin points because of it. I've tried running turbo but that doesn't seem to help any.

Yes, I've had the same problem, as well as the glitch you posted earlier. As far as I can see, there's no way to get past it.
