First of all, welcome!

Second of all, it's the ESA, not ASA

Third, the ESA is not something you download...it's an organization of software companies to help protect all of their games from piracy...those games that are ESA protected used to be downloadable, but recently the ESA said no more, so they are no longer available. So sorry. I hope you stick around on this forum, it's a great environment.

Yes the ESA is a group who protects games that have no need to be protected supposdly abandonia got in a fight with them and the ESA decided to not allow us to host those games anymore.

Actually it's the other way around... We had no right to host those game ) and they just told us that it's enough - so the games had to be removed.

still, really no need to "protect" those old games, if game creators decided to relese them as abanodonware, why should ESA "protect" them?

oh, jeeeez. Those games ARE abandonware. But abandonia.com lost rights from ESA to host these games on the site (try to read other threads!). IMHO reviews are still there, because there is a small chance that someday these games will be on abandonia again. :bye:

Abandonware is not a classification, it's a term.
