![]() (in response to an earlier post)
Only way I've ever been able to kill the mega dragon above the trap door on the cloud road was to start a 2 or 3 person party (instead of the normal 6 person one). That way by the time I've done most of the areas in the game, my characters would be at least level 200, with all obsidian equipment, more attacks, more spellpoints, instead of about 120 or so with a mix of equipment. Still a really gruesome fight though. Absolutely the hardest fight in the game by far... Have to put a lot of $ in the bank and rest a lot for interest to accumulate in order to afford that many levels... Best thing about it is, megadragon is still there even after you beat the darkside. So there's always a really tough enemy available. |

![]() I think sword of xeen is much smaller than world of xeen. Three towns was it? but more spread apart? Remember it being really hard though.

![]() Helloooooooooooooooo,
Might & Magic : World Of Xeen is the best game of the whole saga (only Might & Magic III : Isles Of Terra is nearly as good). I played MM6 & MM7 : not bad but they lost the humour and the colourfull graphics of WOX. They are 4 different versions of World Of Xeen : - World of Xeen - floppy edition - no speech - World Of Xeen - CD edition - speech & sound blaster 16+waveblaster support - World Of Xeen - CD edition from Interplay RPG Compilation - World Of Xeen - CD edition from Might & Magic Millennium Collection It seems the last one has some issues running under DosBOX. Otherwise the other versions runs fine on a Pentium IV - 2.0 Ghz under DosBOX with full music, sound effects & speech. I really hoped when they released MM6 it would be as good as WOX but I was greatly disappointed. Too serious. Bad choice of colours. |

![]() I have a PDF of keywards for MM3-5. Also, I run XP and can run Xeen with sounds and voices but no music; however, I can run it through DOSBox at a snail's pace with music. Can I get speed and music, and, if so, how?
