I found a nasty malware on my computer. AntiVir seems to be a very good program since it's the only one which managed to find it;

Anyhow, since this case is over, I have a problem. Some of my internet programs simply refuse to connect to the internet and I'm pretty sure this malware is in direct relation to those problems.

I was wondering if this malware been able to open/close ports and, if it is the case, if anyone could point to me a program which would allow me to open or close ports in Windows. I'm pretty clueless on this point, so any help would be welcome.

I always had a problem with almost all programs, and this problem is that I can't upload files. I have this problem with mIRC, I have this problem with MSN, I have that problem with plenty of other programs... If it is possible I would want to solve this problem too because I think they are related.
