![]() When I try to run heroes of might and magic in dosbox, it says that it is unanble to access cd drive. And when i try to run it in windows XP nothing happens... Anyone who knows what to do??? :help:

When you have written: Mount e -t cdrom e:\ (It is e:\ for me) Then you use the normal procedure... Mount c c:\ cd heroes heroes.exe |

![]() When you start dosbox you normally use "mount c c:\" to get to your c drive, yes?
ok. we need the same procedure to make the cdrom accessible so use: mount e -t cdrom e:\ then continue as normal. this means that dosbox is able to find your cdrom drive and as long as it contains a cd - it doesn't matter what - the game should then run! edit: put simply, mounting is the process where dosbox assigns letters to your drives. |

![]() well i press the keys with - and : on. I have a standard UK english keyboard layout. Others maybe different. DosBox is actually set up to work with a US layout but I've never had any trouble with those keys!
