With your problem, I have learnt that the chance of your daughter running away increases if you constantly give her freetime on the third part of the month (Yes, it's odd but it supposedly can be a cause)
I've only played a couple of games but it's been varied experiances all the way through. When my brother played a game he decided to give her all the money she needed and tried to shamelessly stress her to death.
It didn't work so he decided to play properly and managed to get the artifacts from Valykira and Fay but because
one stupid poetry class she took when she was ten she became a writer
When she could have easily been the best damn adventurer the world has ever seen.
