Anyone remember 'The Summoning'? It's in my Top 5 list of greatest PC games ever. Well, this game is by Dreamforge, the same group of programmers who developed that incredible game. 'Veil of Darkness' is an action/adventure game, and IMO it should be in the RPG category. It is immensely enjoyable, and when you play it you will wonder why it didn't get the recognition it deserved.
The editor's rating of 5 is no lie. It is an awesome game...and if you like it...you MUST play 'The Summoning.' It blows this out of the water!
BTW, if you use VDMS instead of DosBox the game will run a lot faster and smoother. Enjoy!
