The best war movie is
Glory, bar none. Best script, best production, ever.
Saving Private Ryan is one of the best productions, but the script is a little silly, completely implausible.
I like
Full Metal Jacket too, very good movie.
Platoon is like any movie by Oliver Stone: an outstanding production, but full of commie propaganda and blatant lies.
