I don't like the combat system of QFGV, not at all. And a lot of quest got the feeling of "go to point a, kill everything that moves and come back, possibly with quest item b". There wasn't really a lot of space to alternative solutions to some quests, or the alternatives weren't much different. The feeling of the game wasn't the same.

I liked, yes, and I'm glad that the series could have an ending, although the ending it had wasn't very good. I would preferred a more satisfactory ending than "now you are king! Congratulations! Maybe you even married! Thanks for playing QFG during all these years" I would preferred and ending more like the other QFGs, where everyone touched by your adventures would talk in your behalf, everyone would cheer you and all that. But then take one step more, with some special cinematic, or revelation or something.

And I liked QFG IV!! But yes, if you were a thief, you would possible wouldn't be able to finish the game
