Actually MDK2, is a style of game slightly different. MDK (first one) is a very good game where actions is omniprent, with some interesting moment of puzzle. But it's a real action game. MDK2 is more equilibrated between action and adventure/puzzle game. Notably because an important part of the game played with the scientist.
Any way, both game have plenty original ideas and many moments of great pleasure.
