Finally got around to beating the first game in the series and having completed Shadows over riva numerous times I decided to have a go at #2.
The other two games have been nothing but awesome to me and I'm really looking forward to 'digging in' xD

I don't really feel like importing a party because I was told it will be too easy, but I thought before I rolled a few new chars I'd ask:

Is there any class or spell extremely vital to the game? As well as any class, spell item etc that's extremely useless?
