Thanks for the suggestions.
I am currently using combination of diskettes and CDRW to transfer files to my 286, 386 and 486 PC. Though a little troublesome at times, but they works. I like the idea of using USB, unfortunately no PCI slots, only ISA and VLB on 486. Is there USB card for ISA?

I am able to run packet driver for my Compex Paraport adapter and surf the web using Arachne. I suppose I can run ftp server on my XP PC. The old PCs are running MS-DOS 5.0, 6.22 and FreeDOS 1.0.

By the way, it was great running old games on those old pcs. Just like the old days!
