So sort this topic up a bit:
Issue 1: Computer seems to boot, but nothing appears on the screen, not even the boot-dialouge.
Cause: Playing around with bus-speeds in the BIOS
Solution: Find the jumper to clear the CMOS/BIOS, or if that's missing, take out the battery for a full 24 hr and pray.
Aftermath: Hopefully the core/board/bus wasn't harmed from the high voltage/heat
-----------
Issue 2: Compy reset (before issue 1) at random
Cause: N/A
Solution: Overheating sugested. Open cabin, turn on power, see if the fan's are going and there is an open airflow from core -> out. Also chk core heatsinks if they are clean. MIGHT also be RAM-module issues.. symptoms like this can appear. Once it's up and running, get a diagnostics-tool and run a full scan of all hardware to locate possible problems.
Aftermath: Probably nothing.
