Maybe now if someone could write one for Firefox.

Well there is a way. Just use bookmark keywords. So just create a bookmark with the following url:
Code:
http://www.google.com/custom?cx=010356002036525877607%3Armin8mhjnh8&q=%s&sa=Search&cof=CX%3APC%2520Abandonware%3BFORID%3A0&hl=en&client=google-coop
and give it a keyword, eg: abandonware. This is done in the properties of the bookmark (go to Organise Bookmarks for that)

Once that is done you can search just by typing "abandonware ultima 6" to search for ultima 6.

Ok here is what I did maybe you can tell me where I got lost:

1.copied the link and opened it in a new tab.

2.Saved the bookmark under one of my folders in FireFox and got then right clicked on it and went to properties and gave it the keyword you suggested.

3.Then under the same tab I had opened earlier I typed in to my search box where google and other searche engines are and typed in "abandonware kings quest" with google as my sleceted search engine. Then typed enter.

4.What I seemed to get back was a standard google search.

Anyhelp would be great. Thanks again for your help earlier.
