You have to figure out the controls and get towards the opening. Mostly they are in the background. There are diffenret possibilities where that opening is and it is randomly given from game to game.
Look at that tower-like thing way in the back. There's a little hole in it. Don't worry, steering the sub isn't as hard as it looks...
