not really a bug but...: in elite 3 when you try and land a huge ship in a small space base, sometimes your autopilot is too stupid and can not rotate the ship properly causing it to get stuck, using up all the shield and exploding in the end. base doens't seem to care. they just close the cargo doors.

That was, as far as I gather, not a bug. I think some of the documents mention that some ships are too big for the space stations. It happened to me, but only with the largest freighters like the Pather Clipper. But then again, that game was so crammed with bugs that it was hard to believe it wasn't a joke. Did I mention the passengers refusing to leave your ship and insisting you couldn't sell the cabins because they were still occupied?
