hmm, am I the only one having problems getting this game to run? I go to extract it, and then towards the end, it says "error reading file"
Then, if I try to run the game, it starts loading, then says "Can't load neneric sfx wavs\moto.wav into slot 0, if i press ok, it goes on to give that message (with different .wav files) 20 times. Any have any ideas?

Aye, I am having the same problem. I ran the CD-crack, but it doesn't work. I keep getting a "failed" on the performing crc-check.

This game looks like a blast. I'd love to be able to run it.

Yah, i had the same error message when unzipping the file. Also got the error when running the cd-crack. But the game appears to run just fine though on Windows XP (i'm not using DosBox).

Anyways, I just played the game and I must say it was pretty fun. Of course you'd need to have slight intrest in racing game in order to really enjoy though. Players from other genres may not like it too much. I think the initial issue is that the default controls sucks. It litterally is setup to play like an actual R/C race car (for any of you who never had one when you were a kid - they were big fad in the 80s - the R/C remote had an up/down and left/right stick on it). This configuration may be cool in real life, but it totally sucks in the game. I had to readjust the controls to make suite my needs. From then it was on!

The game does feature very realistic physics - for a little R/C toy car that is. When jumping the curbs or ramps you're litterally flip and flying all over the place. It is a bit tough at first, but after a few runs to get a good feel for the track, its actually not too bad. I like race games for their realistic simulations, but this one was actually fun as hell. Before I realized it, I was playing for 45 minutes. This game reminds me a lot of the "Mario Kart" games on the SNES and N64, especially when getting the different weapons and shooting each other with it. And those were really fun party games. Now what other game features a bowling ball as a weapon (I would say Serious Sam but that was actually a giant cannon ball)?

Too bad theres no music though...oh well. And I'm not sure that the constant loading from different menus is really efficient. Players with slower systems may have to wait a while to get things loaded. The developers should of re-thought the loading system when coding this game. I just happen to have a pretty decent system so it doesn't bother me too much....but i'd be a little annoyed if my system was slower.

It also appears that the game is near identical to the N64 version, except for the long load times. Of course, the PC version looks better in higher resolutions (1024x768 32bit). Too bad I gotta work tommorow..otherwise....
