Hey fellow WOX addicts, I've been trying to get Dosbox to work for awhile now, and have finally got it! I just unplugged the joystick, and it worked much faster. If you are having a speed issue, try unplugging a resource demanding piece of hardware.
I have been playing Swords of Xeen (a spinnoff), just like it was meant to on DOS, and decided to try World of Xeen. I had the disk and everything, and put it in, then tried to play using Dosbox. It said I needed to mount the CD-ROM, so I did, and it still won't detect the disc. Is there a way to play w/o the disc? I remember trying to play the WOX I downloaded here (which didn't need a disc), but that was before I figured out Dosbox, and I deleted
the download file. If there is no way to get the disc working, can I download the game again here, or was it taken off for good? Thanks.
