They are still there, just with a different name now.
|
What are they called now?
|
Aren't they part of EA now? [/b][/quote]
They were, but they managed to "split up" from EA and start all over again:

Though EA still owns the rights to all their old games, so no chance of a new C&C game from them

Red Alert 2 was really the pinnacle of the series, Yuri's was OK, but the addition of ridiculous units wasn't a good choice.
Tib. Sun is both underrated and overated. Some people love it, some people hate it, I merely find it disgustingly mediocre.
The latest additions are OK, but not great, sadly. Still, Zero Hour actually brought about a very good documentry/comedy, so it's not all bad/

Yes, in Yuri's Revenge, the new "Yuri side" was ridiculously unbalanced, plus some other new units like the Battle Fortress. Lots of mods were made to try to fix that though.
One thing I really liked about Red Alert 2 was how the game didn't just jump into "full 3d" (needing a 3d graphics card) like most games of the time, but instead had its own engine to make it look 3D (voxels) but wasn't actually 3D so the game was still fast and smooth (mostly) as it should be. Generals totally failed there, no matter what my system or what I set in the options, it always played so slow
Tiberian Sun is a mixed bag, since it has its fair share of good sides and bad sides. I'm one of the people that hate it, I think it changed too much from Tiberian Dawn (the first Command & Conquer) in terms of units and such.
