I like the idea of just appearing anywhere I need to go, devouring everyone who comes too close and having a impressive posture even though I'm just a sapient pearwooden chest.
As for the animals in our universe: I like albatrosses. No natural enemies, hours of floating above the sea without getting tired and comfy cuddles with my female when I come back home
