I bout this card 2 months ago and it was working superbly until now. it is a Sapphire RADEON 9600 XT 256Mb AGP +TV-out and DVI
Yesterday morning I turned on my comp and I almost got a heart attack. The whloe screen was distorted. Full of clolred dots and horizontal lines, I could barely see a thing. I blind-navigated with buttons becouse I didn't see the mouse pointer(thank God I learned that back with win95
)
I updated the driver, I reinstalled DirectX 9c, I ran a full sweep with NAV, I done everything I could thought out. Then for a final try, I disabled hardware acceleration. Surprise, that solved it temporarly. The screein is okay now, but some lines and dots appear time-to-time after excessive use. If I turn back hardware acceleration, the same thing, I can't see anyting.
What could be the problem? Heeelp!
